Most of what I design gets used under pressure: a journalist filing a story from a phone in the field, an analyst watching a live attack on a satellite system. Interfaces like that can't afford ambiguity, and making them clear is the part of the job I like most.
I'm a senior product designer working on complex, data-dense B2B products. For years I've worked inside the product teams of Dalet, RAD and Weka as their design function, alongside their PMs and engineers, release after release. Much of that work is design systems: I've owned multi-product systems end to end, from tokens and components to icon families of several hundred icons, and designed the product flows built on top of them.
The industries vary widely: broadcast and media, cybersecurity, enterprise storage, networking, medtech, fintech. Each new domain starts with learning how its people actually work, and a pattern that solved a problem in one field often turns out to solve one in another. Under my own name, Kletsel Design, I've also designed a touch interface for a medical device, digital magazine apps for the Weizmann Institute of Science, and a wine catalog with a social layer.
I use AI around design, not in place of it. I build my own Figma skills, among them one that balances a design-system color palette by algorithm, and I prepare specs that AI-assisted development tools can work from directly. Composition and judgment stay with the designer.
I teach at HIT, Holon Institute of Technology, and run a seminar on color, composition and typography for developers and product managers. Explaining a design decision to someone who doesn't make them every day is good practice for making better ones.
Based in Holon, Israel. Open to senior, staff and lead product design roles.
